This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
...or "I have no bloody clue what to do with this thing". Any and all suggestions are welcome, since I've not used it for nearly two years. I dunno. Maybe I should hire it out to small businesses as adveertising space.
1- in terms of somehing to do, your lineart ships seem to be missing smaller vessels, such as escort destroyers and frigates. theyre pretty good, but that is a gap in their strategic value.
2- i just joined NS, could you advise a region to start in?

Hello! To anndress both your points: Yes, I am lacking in everything smaller. For reasons best known to myself (I love battleships!) I started out on the big 'uns first. Which is... daft, but what the heck. Eventually I do plan on doing all the cruisers, destroyers, submarines etc.
As for regions, not really. I'm not very heavily into the regional gameplay part of NS myself; I'm exclusively a roleplayer, and have in fact made a region for myself specifically so nobody can bother me in that part of the game. If you want to involve yourself in the regional gameplay element, or indeed if you're more inclined to the roleplay (RP) side of things, I'd suggest logging onto #nationstates, which is the unofficial NS IRC channel I use. We can be found at [link]; all you need is an IRC client such as mIRC.
Failing that, I'd suggest looking into some of the region advertisements that will probably be filling up your telegram (TG) inbox. These TGs come from dedicated recruiters, and there are regions for just about everyone, regardless of what they want to do. I'd also suggest checking the stickies on the Jolt forums, especially those in NationStates and International Incidents.
Cheers for the feedback - it's nice to actually get some, rather than blank looks - and hope this helps
cheers. ive got my eye on an advertisement or two at the minute actually. one thing tho - what tech does a nation's military usually start with? it would help filling out my backstory dramatically...

It starts off with, pretty much, whatever you want it to. Since NS was created as a marketing tool with humour, it wasn't really meant to incorporate anything particularly accurate or deep.
